MISS TEXAS USA® PAGEANT MOVES TO THE

In September 2011, over 100 outstanding young Texas women will travel to Houston, Texas to compete for the coveted title of Miss Texas USA.  Miss Texas USA will win a fabulous prize package which will include cash, gold and diamond jewelry, travel, wardrobe, and much more.  She will have the honor of representing our great state of Texas in the nationally televised MISS USA® Pageant.  If she wins there she will proceed on to the ultimate pageant, MISS UNIVERSE®.   (The Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants are owned by Donald Trump and NBC.)

The Miss Texas USA Pageant Final Show and Competition will take place on Sunday, September 4, 2011, at the luxurious, four diamond Hilton Americas-Houston Hotel located in the heart of downtown Houston.  This will be the perfect upscale venue for this prestigious event where the contestants are sure to be hosted royally during their pageant weekend.

While in town for the pageant, the Hilton-Americas Houston Hotel will also be a great location for families and friends to enjoy spending time for shopping, entertainment, and great restaurants.   Located just three miles away from Hermann and Memorial Parks and The Houston Zoo, it is also within walking distance of the Toyota Center (home of the Houston Rockets), and  Minute Maid Park (home of the Houston Astros).  The Hilton-Americas is also convenient to one of the newest additions to the downtown area - the Houston Pavilions which houses the House of Blues, Lucky Strike Lanes, several amazing restaurants and shopping!
