Carla Bruni

Carla Bruni (Carla Bruni Tedeschi) was born on December 23, 1968 in Turin, Italy. She is a famous fashion model, a singer and songwriter. Biography and Career : At the age of five, Carla's family left their homeland and moved to Paris. She attended a Swiss boarding school and after that, she studied Arts and Architecture at the University of Paris. She studied guitar and piano and, having a great passion for literature and writing, she started writing songs. She gave up her Arts and Architecture studies after having had a love affair with singer Mick Jagger. She decided to start a career in modeling, encouraged by her brother's girlfriend to sign a contract with City Models in Paris. She was the person elected to carry Italy's flag at the ceremony for the opening of 2006 Wi nter Olympics in Turin. In 1995 she was seen in the Lavazza Calendar. She modeled for important names like Allesandro Dell' Acqua, Blumarine, Chanel, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, MaxMara, Versace and Yves Saint Laurent. Three years later she managed to be among the 20 highest-paid fashion models. Being still passionate about music, after ten years of modeling, she put her fashion career to an end and started consecrating herself to music. In 1999 she wrote the words along with Julien Clerc for the music of album "Si j'etais elle". She married Raphael Enthoven and they have one child, Aurelin, born in 2001.
